Background

Alyanna Morgana ThordottirShe is the daughter of Thor ( King of Asgard ) and the mortal and scientist Doctor Jane Foster. She has a twin brother named Jason Thordottir who was born twenty minute before her. They inherited their mother's brunette hair and the blue eyes of their father Thor. They both inherited the power of their father. Though, they don't have the same similarity. The weather changes drastically under Alyanna's mood while Jason has more similar trait from his father.Alyanna was born on a summer day, on June 21st. She and her brother were born on Midgard but due to the danger on Midgard, they had to follow their father on Asgard until everything would calm down. They were only babies when they were send to Asgard. From a young age, Alyanna and Jason already had the title of prince and princess because of their father who would become ( in the future ) the king of Asgard. Something that didn't really pleased her uncle ; the god of mischief Loki himself. While her twin brother Jason didn't like the company of Loki and prefered to be with their father Thor, Alyanna was fascinating and captivating by what Loki could do. The tricks, the magic. Thor and Odin didn't like that little Alyanna was always following Loki around. To the point that they order ask her to not stop seeing him and sent her to Midgard for a couple of years. It wasn't pleasing her at all.She may be only ten but she didn't quite understand what she did wrong. All she did was to spend time with her uncle Loki and learn everything of him. Loki wasn't a bad person or someone who would try to destroy the nine realms (Well, no one knew that he would feel betrayed and broken to have been lied about his true parentage and use this anger and pain to try to conquer New York.Alyanna stayed with her mom Jane for four years until Thor had to get to Midgard when Loki went rogue and attacked New York to send her to Asgard in no time before he return to Midgard to find along the Avengers to stop Loki. Luckily for Jane and Alyanna, they were on New Mexico. On a positive note, those three years has brought her closer to her mother whom she couldn't see often but it also mean that she was far away from her father. This separation was one of the reasons that she started to become jealous of her brother Jason because they had the chance to grow closer while Alyanna couldn't be with her father and her uncle.When the princess of Asgard arrived on Asgard, she didn't know what was going on. Everything was so quiet. Her grandma was always sad. Her grandfather always angry. Her father was gone and didn't even tell her where or what he was going. The only things that felt normal was her brother. She always has been feeling close to him. Not because he is her twin brother but because he seem to be the only one , after Loki, to understand her but something has changed for the moment she saw him. He didn't need to say words because she could feel it. Was it her own emotion or his ? She didn't know. She just knew that it couldn't be hers because the weather would have react at her mood.Alyanna's power started to manifest itself when she was staying with her mother which was a challenge for Jane especially the first weeks because Alyanna was angry, upset and scared, and hurt. Let say that New Mexico had rainy days and thunder. And dark sky. But she eventually calm down, thanks to her mother's help. But that didn't mean that she was able to control it. Alyanna always has been one with her emotion, in a way that she cannot control or stop if she is manifesting any kind of emotion. Which brings us to the fact that it couldn't be Alyanna. He was hiding her something. Why everyone were hiding her something. Jason was lying to her face.The princess of Asgard eventually learn the truth from her brother that her uncle Loki got banished, or more like fall into the dark abyss after he betrayed Asgard and tried to get Odin killed. And their father had to leave because Loki was currently in New York causing mayhem and chaos to destroy New York, to be claimed King of Midgard. Alyanna didn't want to believe it. It was impossible. It was a lie. He would never do such things but what hurt her more was the fact that her own father and brother lied to her.Alyanna stayed in her chamber until she heard commotion and Asgardian's guard running in the hall. Alyanna left her chamber, to follow the voice and the commotion until she enter the throne room, only to see her uncle wearing chain and walking toward Odin like he was a prisoner.Just as Alyanna was about to speak up, her father motioned to her brother to take her away. It was breaking his heart for his brother Loki because he always thought the best of him and he knew how much Alyanna appreciate and admire her uncle Loki. But Alyanna didn't want to believe them. She saw him and understand him more than he probably does because when she was a kid until she left at the age of ten, she could see throough him and he wasn't like people think.Filled with anger and rage, she didn't want to leave the room and to let her uncle but her twin brother was stronger than her and easily took her away which result into a huge fight. Their first fight that quickly alter the weather outside the castle. She was so angry, outraged that they could keep a secret like that from her. What other secret were they keeping from her ?Alyanna went outside on the balcony to cool off, to stop the rain and the thunder that was forming because of her mood but nothing was working. She stayed outside with the rain streaming down her hair and her Asgardian's princess dress.After the trial, Loki's sentence was to stay the rest of his life in a cell in the dungeon section where no one was allowed. Then again, no one told her about it which add to her anger and despair. Her father came to tell her that Loki was somewhere that she cannot go and to not ask.Did she listen ? Did she try not to learn more ? No, she wouldn't. She hasn't spoken to her uncle since almost four years. Did her father really expect her to just listen when all they did, are lying. (To be fair, she didn't know that Loki took Midgard, tried to kill Odin and other things)She just knew where Loki was since when she was little, she used to play hide and seek and hide anywhere in the castle. She even once hide into the dungeon ( not in the prisoner department)She waited that it was late at night since it was quiet in the castle before she went to the dungeon to visit her uncle. Since she doesn't have magic like her grandma Frigga or Loki, she couldn't lift the enchantment that prevents the prisoner to escape or to anyone to help. She spend over three weeks to do that, going to see her uncle and talking to her. Sadly, she couldn't do anything to set him free. The princess of Asgard thought that she could keep it up like this, to hide it and never be found but she was wrong. Because the next night that would be her last, she got caught by Fandral who was on guard duty and decided to stay as a guard longer and he immediately brings her to her father who was obviously angry and upset that his own daughter has been sneaking and lying to her which she retort that he and Jason has been doing the same and that they have been ignore her and making her feel unwelcome, which anger Thor even more. Alyanna and her father fought with words and with emotion which once more alter the weather and it was the first time that he notice what she could do. Not even Jason has told her about it. It prove the point of Alyanna that she was nothing to them. She started to get jealous and envious of how close her father and her twin brother were towards each other.Another fight followed when her father told her that if she doesn't stop to act wrong by disobeying him and misbehaving, she will return to her mother and won't come back to Asgard. The princess of Asgard replied that she has every right to stay here. She is a princess and has every right to stay on Asgard. She knew that if it was her brother Jason, he wouldn't have this kind of conversation because he is so perfect and already chosen to be the next to sit on the throne of Asgard. This statement not only anger her but deeply hurt her. For her, that wasn't even fair. She was as much entitled than her brother to sit on this throne. It wasn't fair for her because she hasn't been raised to become a queen. She spent four years of her young life from the age of ten to fourteen. Of course, her grandma, her father and Loki taught her the basic to be a princess and how to act but she never have been this close to her father because he made sure that she doesn't stay on Asgard only because she was spending too much time with her uncle Loki.Alyanna wasn't allowed to be alone without Fandral or Lady Sif because her father and brother didn't trust her to not go see Loki. She didn't go see him for almost two years. During those two years, her mother has been staying on Asgard with the rest of the family. Luckily for her, she , at least, wasn't feeling left out because her mother was teaching her everything about science while some tutor were teaching Alyanna and Jason so they could have a proper Asgardian's education and Midgardian's one. She always has been a good student and was learning everything quick and her mother even tell her that she would be a great queen one day which pleased Alyanna because if there was one thing that she love and wished to be, it was to be a queen of Asgard, to be like her grandmother and to do everything right. She has never been fond of Odin and was still angry at his poor choice to make his own son Loki suffering. Yeah, when she will become queen, she will released her uncle from the dungeon. This thought was giving her hope and strenght to not be affected by how little her brother and father knew about her because they were so busy with being always together. At least, she had her mother with her.It wasn't that Thor didn't like his daughter. Au contraire, he loves her and wants to protect her from any harm and come harsh at her because she is stubborn like him and Jane. Every time they talk, it end up in fight and end with Alyanna being excuse to her chamber or far away from him. But she doesn't know any of it. She just know that her father and brother are the reason that she got sent to Midgard, that she didn't saw her uncle. They were the reason that she was denied the access to see Loki. They have been lying to her, being secretive. She wasn't feeling the love and attention from her father.Her jealousy towards her brother grew stronger when she and him were celebrating their sixteen birthday. It all started when Alyanna asked for permission to see her uncle only for a couple of minute. It was the only gift she wanted but her father and Odin said no which enrage her. Then, the feast arrived and everyone was eating. It was all quiet and there was no fighting until they brought up the subject of legacy and taking Thor's place once he cannot be king anymore. Though, Thor wasn't a king yet. He was close to become one after Odin decide to retire and leave. Alyanna knew that her father would say that Jason was next to the throne but when she heard it from her mother that Jason would be a good king, it broke her and enrage her. She openly said that she has every right to be next in line for the throne. What a best way to shut everyone and to make the room feel unease and fill with her emotion. What didn't help is that her own brother said that she couldn't be a king because she is a lady. Alyanna's mood at her brother's words changed the blueish sky to grey before it start to rain. She stood up on her feet before she left the room, not really wanted to talk to anyone or have anyone close to her. She remain to her room for about thirty minute before she decided to do something bold and forbidden. She left to go to the dungeon to speak with Loki. She had no one else to confide and her uncle was the best to understand her. Well, she thinks since she never really learn that he was adopted and lied to all of his life. She spend almost thirty minutes speaking to Loki and just pouring her heart out. She told him everything which Loki replied that of course, it would be her brother to take the throne because Odin and Thor are the same. They lied to you and make you think you are family when you aren't. Alyanna didn't quite understand what he meant which Loki reply with a laugh. Of course, Alyanna didn't know that Loki was adopted and that he was being lied to all of his life, just like Alyanna. Loki told him the truth about him, about Odin, about Thor, about everything which anger her even more. She didn't want to believe any of it, nor didn't care. For her, he was family and family doesn't stab people on the back or lie which it is what Odin, Thor and her own brother Jason did. She was furious. To add to her anger and the feeling of having been betrayed, her brother Jason came stopping her and dragging her out from the dungeon. As they were starting to fight, they heard commotion and screaming, Alyanna and her twin brother follow the sound only to see that the dark elves have invading Asgard's home. Jason told her to get away but ALyanna didn't listen. She wanted to fight. She knew how to fight. Her grandmother taught her. Lady Sif taught her. Even her father when she was little. But Jason didn't want to listen and order Fandral to get her to her chamber, which she didn't appreciate it. Just as she was getting close to her chamber, Fandral had to push her away because two dark elves was approaching which give time for the princess of Asgard to run away. She run as fast as she could until she tripped onto a dark elves's death body. Her dress was filled with dark blood but what caught her attention was a dark elve's sword. She took it without hesitation before she run away.She didn't want to fight. She only wanted to fight to prove her family that she has what it takes to be a warrior, to be a queen but like always and on time, her brother Jason saw her getting almost attack by a dark elve but her brother kill it and drag her to the throne room. She has been trying her best to remain calm but the minute that her brother open her mouth to tell him how reckless she is and the reason why she would never sit on the throne, she exploded with rage and started to yell at him. Outside could be heard the thunder and the lighting dancing on the dark greying sky.Alyanna couldn't understand how they grew apart and she would be lying if she said that it wasn't hurting her. He was her other half. Her twin. She could feel what he feels and he could feel what she feels but nothing could change how they drift apart from each other. He couldn't understand how she was feeling deep inside. And she couldn't understand him. There was no point in speaking. But what happened next was unexpected. She didn't even see it coming. It was like a part of her brain has stopped working and give the control to someone else. When she was awake, she saw the blood that was flowing down of his mouth, then when she looks down. She was holding the dark elve's blade in her hands. There was blood on her hand. The blood of her brother.« NO NO NO.. NO.. » She keeps repeating with tears in her eyes. What did she do ?!!!She kneel down when Jason fell on the ground. She keeps looking at him, in shock and unable to know what to do. She didn't even notice that she was still holding the sword until she throw it away to hold her brother's head on her legs.« Wake up. Wake up. Don't go -- »A part of her was devastated to see this. That she could have done something like this but at the same time, she doesn't really know if it is her. While the other part of her was just glad it was over. That there was no more pain, no more anger. It was all gone, just like that. Alyanna watches as her brother slowly die by the dark elves's poisonous sword that pierced through his chest, letting the poison running through his vein and slowly reaching out to his heart until it stopped beating.Alyanna's covered her face with her hands, as she start to sob. She could have reach out for help, screaming, yelling but she didn't do anything. Then, it hit her. She has to run. Yes! She can't stay here. She has to run. She wiped the blood from her hand.

before she run toward the door and then she run as fast as she could, sobbing and panicking. Her heart was beating fast. She was feeling nauseous. Her head was feeling dizzy. Her hands and every muscle of her body was shaking. She couldn't stop repeating those exact same words : WHAT DID I DO ? WHAT DID I DO ?The fear. The anxiety. She could feel it all and so does the weather. It was raining. The good and positive thing is that most of the dark elves were either killed or left but it was too late for Alyanna to go back in time. She did it and she couldn't stay here anymore. She left to her chamber, changed her clothes and washes the blood from her hand and put on new clothes. She put on another dress before she left the chamber to hide as far away as possible. She would have go to Loki but it was too much open. The one thing she knew is that she had to hide and be far away from the castle and from preying eyes. She could never go back home. She could never set foot in Asgard but she had no way to left by the rainbow bridge because it would be the first thing her father and the Asgardian's guard would do. Maybe they didn't know what she did. Maybe they didn't find her clothes filled with the blood of her brother. Maybe they didn't reach the throne room yet and didn't find the lifeless body of her twin brother. She could still feel it. Feeling that the moment that he was dead. She died too. It was like a part of her left and died with him and could never go back or being heal.She stayed hidden for what seem to be forever. She knew this place could be a good place to lay low until she can go see Loki. She knew because Loki showed her this when she was ten, just a couple of days before she had to leave to be with her mother Jane. No, she couldn't go see her mother either. She could only trust Loki. Or could she ? She wasn't sure of anything anymore.Dammit, she should have thought to bring food and supplies. She won't be able to last much longer before she starves to death but she didn't want to risk to be seeing. She couldn't step out of this hidden place.One night, she was sleeping and heard footstep coming, she woke up in panic and grab the first thing that she saw. Holding the rock close to her, she was preparing herself to throw it at whoever it was. She know it is stupid. No Asgardian can be knock down by a simple rock. It takes more than that to even hurt them. Alyanna could know a little how it is because she was what people on Midgard called half human, half Asgardian because her father is Asgardian and her mother, she is from Midgard.Alyanna slowly stood up, ready to attack before she throw the rock, only to see that it was Loki who told her that Thor was searching for her. In panic, Alyanna told him everything and told him that he cannot know where she is. That she has to live far away. And this is when Loki found her a way to go to another realm and to hide there. She didn't know that Loki has been doing all of this for a reason.
